School in Norrköping
Educational institutions are not associated in Poland with unique architectural solutions. The Swedes have a slightly different approach in this respect. Due to the shorter construction season, they are also accustomed to prefabrication, which allows them to complete projects according to strict schedules. They often use the services of Polish manufacturers in this area. So when the residents of Norrköping dreamed of huge drawings on the wall of a new school, they contacted Budizol.
Thanks to this cooperation, the largest façade in Europe made of graphic concrete was created in addition to the prefabricated school. Not only its production but also its assembly required extraordinary precision – the drawn shapes were divided into several adjacent elements, so even minor shifts would have spoiled the overall visual effect.
