Letniskowa Housing Estate – Quality and Construction Pace Proven in Sweden and Denmark

The execution of this multi-family housing estate in Włocławek is a project where we fully utilized our many years of experience from demanding Scandinavian markets. The “Letniskowa Scandinavia” estate, built in just 8 months, is proof that modern prefabrication technology allows complex projects to be realized in record time, without any compromise on quality and durability.

Scandinavian Experience on Polish Ground

The construction of the estate in the Michelin district of Włocławek, near our production plants, was a natural step in the development of Budizol. Transferring the knowledge gained during projects in Denmark and Sweden, we created 36 two-story apartments whose structure is based on solutions used in our solid, prefabricated budiHOME single-family houses. This is a standard that proves itself in harsh weather conditions and meets the highest quality norms.

The Strength and Precision of Reinforced Concrete Prefabrication

The foundation of the project is massive reinforced concrete prefabrication technology. In contrast to standard construction, the extensive scope of prefabrication used here can still be surprising in the Polish context. In this realization, ready-made elements included not only stair flights or Filigree slabs, but the comprehensive building structure:

• all load-bearing and partition walls,

• prestressed Hollow Core Slabs (HCS),

• roof panels.

The production of all components at the factory, under strict technical supervision, guarantees millimetre precision and eliminates the risk of errors on the construction site. This translates directly into key advantages for residents:

• High strength and durability of the structure for years.

• Excellent fire resistance, increasing safety.

• Consistently high quality, unattainable with traditional methods.

Record Pace, Uncompromising Quality

Thanks to the precision of execution and perfect logistics, the total time for construction works for the entire estate was only 8 months. A construction of a similar scale, executed using traditional methods, would take at least twice as long and require the involvement of a significantly larger number of workers.
