Indigo Warsaw Nowy Świat

The history of the historic tenement house located at 40 Smolna Street in Warsaw—now home to the Hotel Indigo Warsaw Nowy Świat—dates back to the early 20th century. This representative building, situated in a prime location just off the Royal Route, was erected in 1903 on the order of Count Ksawery Branicki. Today, the tenement house is recognized as an iconic Warsaw landmark under the protection of the Warsaw City Conservator of Monuments.

In 2014, the deteriorated property was purchased by Budizol, which undertook extensive efforts to ensure that the building met modern standards while preserving its considerable historical value. After a meticulous restoration process, the company opened a four-star hotel in 2017, offering an authentic local experience combined with contemporary design, modern technologies, and personalized service.

Hotel Indigo is an international upscale boutique brand by the InterContinental Hotels Group, dedicated to both business and leisure travelers. Hotel Indigo Warsaw Nowy Świat offers 60 designer rooms featuring wooden floors, high ceilings, and artistic wall graphics. The hotel lobby is a soaring, open space blending history with modernity, highlighted by a central art installation composed of 900 colorful, hand-blown, illuminated glass spheres. The hotel also includes a modern business center with six conference rooms totaling approximately 400 m². Guests can enjoy a relaxation area with a gym, sauna, and steam room, as well as the Lobby Bar offering a wide selection of whisky from around the world, and the Flo Restaurant.
