Eyes can be deceiving

Even at the construction stage, the moment of which is preserved on Google Maps Street View, the Tertio Ponte office building did not give the impression of being prefabricated. Meanwhile, it is a comprehensive prefabrication, including three-layer walls. Properly designed, precisely made and carefully assembled walls that make up the building’s facade give the impression of a monolithic structure.

This impression does not disappear in the interiors. People who do not know where to look may have a problem indicating that we are dealing with walls connected from ready-made elements. These walls do not require any finishing other than factory-made, and the large ceiling spans offer spacious and well-arranged interiors. The interiors, as befits prefabrication, are sparkling clean immediately after assembly.

An additional element of Tertio Ponte that may mislead the observer are the walls covering the installations located on the roof of the building. Yes, this lower part of the building has only one floor, and the two higher ones – exactly four each. The illusion of additional height is provided by walls finished on the outside in the same way as the entire elevation. Such powerful ‘sails’ of course require appropriate protection of the structure from the wind.

People who have seen Tertio Ponte live do not need to be convinced of the possibilities of prefabrication in terms of aesthetics.
